Residents and businesses can recycle ink and toner cartridges through local retailers such as Office Depot, Staples, or other specialized companies.
Do not place empty ink or toner cartridges in your curbside recycling.
Year-Round Drop-Off at the Solid Waste District
Drop off ink jet cartridges, printer cartridges, and other toner cartridges at the Solid Waste District. The District accepts cartridges year-round at 4750 East 131 Street in Garfield Heights. Drop off cartridges in the lobby during business hours Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or on Special Saturdays. Cartridges are recycled or refurbished by a local nonprofit organization.
