Dispose of Toner Cartridges Right

Do not place empty ink or toner cartridges in your curbside recycling.

Year-Round Drop-Off at the Solid Waste District

Drop off ink jet cartridges, printer cartridges, and other toner cartridges at the Solid Waste District. The District accepts cartridges year-round at 4750 East 131 Street in Garfield Heights. Drop off cartridges in the lobby during business hours Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or on Special Saturdays. Cartridges are recycled or refurbished by a local nonprofit organization.
